Der "Blaue Kurfürst" Max Emanuel, der Bauherr von Schleißheim und der majestätischen Erweiterung Nymphenburgs, war auch Auftraggeber für den Bau von Schloß Fürstenried. Man kann sich dieses Ausflugsziel fürstlicher Jagd-Gesellschaften noch gut vorstellen wenn man durch Garten und Innenräume wandelt. Allerdings ist Fürstenried seit einem Jahrhundert "Exerzitienzentrum" der katholischen Kirche Süd-Bayerns - und so begegnet man hier stilvoller Umwandlung vom Jagdschloß zu einem geistlichen Zentrum.
